Is the Gym The Right Environment For YOU?

This is the question you really need to ask yourself when considering joining a gym. Why? Well based upon my experience of talking to my clients and being in the industry for 20 years this environment does not work for most people and you are throwing money down the drain. Unless you are a self motivated person or gaining the support from either a personal trainer, partner or friend it just doesn’t work and most commercial gym’s rely on this.

Typically if every member of s gym was to attend the gym at the same time the queue would be immense and full of frustrated people, trying to get to the equipment. This typically can be found in the New Year when people have those New year Resolutions and by 1st week in February all resolutions are forgotten and its back to where you first started.

Ask yourself the following questions and watch my video.

  1. What do I want to achieve?
  2. Why do I want to achieve it?
  3. How long will it realistically take me to achieve this?
  4. Am I self motivated to do this for this period of time?
  5. Is this environment right for me?

If you have answered the following honestly it’s likely that the gym is not the right environment for you. Thats why Group Fitness Training has exploded, it is an environment where everyone has a goal and purpose.
